What's it like working for Aldi? That's what we asked a few employees...
Anna was first attracted to working at Aldi by stories of good pay and interesting work. After eighteen months she’s more than happy she made the move from Poland.
"I most enjoy the people I work with. The physical side of the job - sorting out deliveries and the shelf stacking - can be physically challenging, but it helps keep me fit!"
Anna works flexible hours, but has to put in her fair share of late nights with the other members of staff.
A qualified chef, Anna finds Aldi a great place to work and would recommend it to her friends if they're thinking of a career change.
Her proudest moment was when she was promoted to a deputy mangement position and realised that she had more than just a shop job, but a career in retailing.
"I enjoy a good salary, good promotion prospects and work with a friendly bunch of people. The people, that's probably the best part."
